During this lan, we will have an Internet connection of 500 Mbp/s from DGC (AS 21195). This will be sufficient for all hungry players and also for those of you who want to surf around. On the other hand, we prohibit any kind of torrent traffic. If you are found to use torrents you will be banned from the internet and have to ask to be activated again, so be sure to remove the startups like utorrent.
At the Pro-gaming area we will segment the network to secure and optimize game performance, to give you as ProGamer the best possible condition to go home with the first prize.
In the ordinary lan area all will be in the same subnet, without any restrictions internally or externally, to maximize the options for what you want to do.
Important things to consider before you get to the Lan:
- Do not forget to run Windows Update before you get to the LAN.
- Use an updated antivirus program.
- Use a firewall, Windows firewall is better than having no firewall at all.
- Close the auto start of the torrent programs or other downloading software.
