Hazard is a nonprofit organization started in 2000, but that Lana has been something that the founders of the club made much earlier. The association is connected to Sverok (Swedish role-playing and conflict Association) and receive funding for activities from them.

Since the start of Hazard so we have organized more than 20 own LAN in different sizes and some co-op including Norrlan and QHlan.

Seed for Hazard was born in a port, namely port 304 on Gemini road. You could say that this is the association's womb. It is really strange how we solve the vision was at that time. Warcraft II was a complete strategy and Doom II were 3D. Officials thought it was nullmodemkabeln between Fahad (ShotgunCharlie) and Peters (varget) computers that made the game boring usual glamorous pastime. But the tournament's organization was beneath contempt and network incredibly sloppy. Although nothing concrete came up it was a little small talk between us that something like this, we could probably do better. Tournament ended at six o'clock at night, a network like a five year old could have a better fix and a staff who would rather play Nintendo than fixed network problems.

In the summer of 2000 was so decided, we would form a lanförening. None of us had any real experience of what it meant from a temporal and institutional terms. Previously, we had simply gone down to the Tellus room and fixed the system tables, lift up your computers and start up (after rebooting the computer at least 10 times due to a non functions of NIC). Where should I have lan? What should we invest in? How do we get the money to invest? What does the word 'Investing? How do we fix table and chairs for all participants on the LAN? We decided to have meetings every Saturday. Then, when everything was really new was a meeting without some really thorny issues last up to five hours. Some typical for us is that a discussion of the candy brands it will sell the loan can take hours of screaming while meeting where our names were determined to pass without a single participant, raising his voice. Hazard became our name and we are actually quite happy with it. Moreover, the average meeting much shorter now than then.

The 2 to 5th November 2000 was our first LAN. It was then we came to notice how much work it is to have the LAN. It was the epic and now legendary bordsbärningen who became our first real experience of how it is practical to arrange the LAN. The tables would be worn around outside 200meter. After several hours of load-bearing, we had in all cases determined that we would never do anything like it. LAN was luckily was at least a success! Everything was of course not as it should but it was our first LAN so I do believe no one had expected a flawless LAN. When the loan was final, and finished cleaning the tables had återvännt to the dining room so we returned to our lives, hungry for more. We continued to have meetings every Saturday, we continued our quest for improved local and figure out solutions to the problems we had at our first LAN. The 4th of January it was time again, this time in the school gym hall Kvarnback. If anyone thought otherwise, I can reveal that the gym does not have a table. Our promise to never drag a table held in other words, not very long. But this time it was a much shorter distance when we heard from the table Kvarnback school canteen. As a bonus, it was freezing cold and deep snow. But we survived and the county continued with no major worries. Apart from the internet that had a fight. LAN ended and we continued our meetings, we now found a club in Norrtälje as we came to start to start cooperation with. More about that later.

In April 2001 it went to Ribbyskolans dining room for a new loan. For this loan, we received a visit from Radio Haninge gjør as a small story on us. This was the LAN when Lasse (M3) was at the center. First, we launched a rescue of Hazard lasse campaign that he would get a team in Q3TA. Then when the loan was over and all except M3 gone home so it turned out that even his shoes, walked away. Poor M3, however, he dared to show itself again on our LAN so completely awful, it may not have been.

The next milestone in our history was the autumn break in 2001 when we finally after a year of nagging and prayers finally got to be in Fredrikaremerskolans dining room. This had the consequence that it became our largest LAN so far, namely about 85-90 borrowers visited us. We will then said the following LAN in our LAN now familiar locale in Fredrika Bremer school canteen, the year after our first LAN in the dining room came the horrors that we got the space is limited! 120personer we got into the dining room this LAN. But we were not happy for it, but went home and tried to sharpen the ideas in order to have larger loans. We continued with LAN for LAN on virtually all school holidays. In Fredrika Bremer School got the idea that expansion, we instead keep to the sister school in Frederick's restaurant across the road. The loans could be a little less during this time but as autumn break in 2005 so it was time to open the new larger dining room in Fredrika Bremer School. It was noticeable that there was a large demand for LAN and it was our largest ever LAN. Everything but the internet worked well as usual.

We work constantly on improving the loans in all areas, kiosk range is increasing every time and server capacity than constant, as we wrote this piece, it was the servers on the LAN last 4pcs MacPro with 2x "3GHz Dual-Core Intel Xeon 5100 series" processors . Internet as long as the mess will soon be a thing of the past when Fredrika Bremer School must obtain a separate Internet line as we can borrow if we want, nothing more tjaffs with local bigwigs and the "IT department".

At this writing, it is late summer 2007 and we have had so many loans that we lost count. A guess is that in all cases it is the 20th We have collaborated with other compounds 3-4, Been in around 10 different premises.

We have not as yet reached perfection, and we have actually said that the hazard is not to abandon services until a lan staged in Stockholm International Fairs.
